General Terms & Conditions of Participation

1. DEFINITIONS
   
   

   “Excursions” refers to the event known as ‘Creating Sunway Memories with AMBP’ detailed within the AllMalaysian Bloggers Project website, and in this contract.

   “Organiser”refers to Star Publications (Malaysia) Berhad (Co. No. 10894-D) or its lawful assignees.

   “Partner” refers to Sunway Group Berhad or its respective lawful assignees.
   
   
   

2. RESPONSIBILITY
   
   The Organiser, in its Partner, has selected qualified professional tour operators to organise and administer the Excursions. The Partner is solely responsible and liable for providing their respective services such as accommodation, ground operator, or other services connected with the Excursions.
   
   
   
3. PARTICIPATION
   
   
   1. The Excursions are open to all members of AllMalaysia Bloggers Project.
   2. Participants must be 18 years or older on the day of the Excursions.
   3. Anyone below the age of 18 on the day of the Excursions must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire journey, OR provide an approval letter signed by a parent or guardian. Otherwise, there are no age restrictions, but all participants must be in good health (See clause 7).
   4. By registering for, and participating in the Excursions, the participant agrees to take part in the Sunway Memories Photography Contest; and abide by the Rules and Regulations of the competition as outlined at the contest website.
   5. The Organiser and its Partner reserve the right in their sole discretion to accept, decline to accept, or remove any participant on the Excursions.
      
      
      
4. PHOTOGRAPHY & OWNERSHIP
   
   
   1. By registering for, and participating in the Excursions, the participant agrees to provide a copy of all photographs taken of Sunway premises during the Excursions, to the Organiser and Partner.
      
   2. The copyright of image(s) taken during the Excursions remains with the photographer.
   3. The participant must select images taken during the Excursions to be submitted as entries for the Sunway Memories Photography Contest.
   4. The Organiser reserves the right to exhibit or reproduce any images taken by the participant during the Excursions in whatever way deemed fit for exhibition and for any online or print-based publicity and promotional purposes without prior notice, consent or payment of any fee whatsoever to the participants.
      
   5. The Organiser reserves the right to take photographs or videos during the Excursions, or part thereof, and to use the resulting photography for promotional purposes. By registering to participate in the Excursions, participants agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs; participants who prefer that their image not be used, should provide notice to this effect prior to the Excursions.
      
      
      

5. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
   
   By registering for and participating in the Excursions, the participant certifies that he/she is in good physical and mental health, and does not have a condition or disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other participants.
   
   
   
6. RISK & LIABILITY
   
   The Organiser will not be held liable in the event of damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons as a result of participation in the Excursion.
   
   
   
7. CANCELLATION AND/OR CHANGES
   
   The Organiser and Partner reserve the right, without penalty, to cancel, postpone or modify the itineraries of the Excursions whenever, in their judgment, conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of participants.
   
   
   
8. INTERPRETATION
   
   The Organiser reserves the right to make changes, amendments and/or additions to the terms and conditions, and rules and regulations, as and when considered necessary for the proper conduct of the Excursions. Interpretation of clauses contained herein shall rest entirely with the Organiser, whose decision shall be final and binding.
