AMBP Xtreme Challenge at Sunway Lagoon

AMBP, in collaboration with Sunway Lagoon, is proud to present the very first AMBP Xtreme Challenge, a challenge which we hope would provide you with one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

This challenge will take up the form of a race that’ll take place on June 5, 2010 at Sunway Lagoon, and we guarantee you it’ll be altogether fun, wild, speedy, splashy, and perhaps a little spooky.

The question is, are you up for it? You wouldn’t want to back down from a challenge now, would you?

So, here’s an open invitation for you to prove that you have what it takes to sit (or run, or ride, or slide) through the many attractions that Sunway Lagoon’s theme parks - Water Park, Amusement Park, Extreme Park, Scream Park & Wildlife Park – can offer you.

If you’re game, what you need to do now is gather your friends (up to a maximum of four people) and put your names in the lot, as a team. You can decide later, during the Challenge, who gets to do what.

If you can’t find anyone to join your team, register anyway; we’ll place you with other individuals who share your plight. Do note that AMBP members will be given priority.

All participants are winners in our book, so no one goes home empty-handed on the day. Still, we need to separate the champions from the pretenders, so there will be extra prizes for the first x teams that cross the finish line.

But alas, while we would love to accommodate each and every one of you, we can’t do so simply because it would stretch us too thin, logistically. As such we’re opening this up to only 100 participants (i.e. 20 teams), so you do have to hurry.

Contest Alert! Naturally, as with every blogger event, we’re going to need your help to get the word out about this Challenge, but more importantly, we need your help to ensure Sunway Lagoon retains its International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA) Award under the Asia’s Best Attraction (Medium Category) 2010 category.

So while you wait for June 5 to come, participate in this quick online contest, although it’s not a prerequisite to win invites to the AMBP Xtreme Challenge. Feel free to use material – vids, photos, banners, posters etc – provided by Sunway Lagoon to make your entry more attractive.

Oh, and finally, to know what you’re really getting into, take a gander at the Activities page. Note that lunch is covered, so all you need to do is dress in a suitable attire, and bring a change of clothes, lots of enthusiasm, and of course, your ‘A’ game. ;)
