Want a stuffed polar bear?

Well, do you? Thanks to the nice folks at Golden Screen Cinemas, you could very well own one by the end of this month.Wait there's more. Not only could you be the proud owner of a plush toy polar bear for Christmas, you could also be in the running to win some other cool imported merchandise from the movie The Golden Compass. Then, there's the possibility of watching the movie for free...

All you need to do is leave a comment, answering the question above in as creative a manner as possible. A simple "yes" could possibly do the trick, but a rhymey "hell, yeah, a polar bear, I need to take it home I swear" would definitely take you further.

Also, since this is a contest to promote the movie, you'll need to write a little about the The Golden Compass on your blog. It could be as simple as a one-word movie review (Fulamak!), a 3,000-word comment on the Philip Pullman book upon which it is based, a drool-heavy homage to Eva Green (who plays the gorgeous witch Serafina Pekalla in the movie), or even a sketch of Iorek Byrnison the Armoured Bear (voiced by Ian McKellen).

actually i don't really want the bear.

i'm not into cute. soft toys are dust traps. i don't think it right that plar bears should talk in the book or the film since it blows away all credibilty.

but i do like the idea of winning something.

Hmmmm.... Let's put it this way. If you had the golden compass now, the needles will point to the number 1 symbol to indicate that I really wanna win first prize, to the bear to indicate that I really really really wanna win that plush toy polar bear, and also to little letterings that says, "Pick Me!!" Now, THAT is the truth! :D
