The brainchild of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Galeria Perdana is a unique gallery built to showcase the many awards and gifts that were awarded to the Prime Minister and his wife from other world leaders as well as Malaysians. These gifts were collected during his tenure as Prime Minister.

This architectural wonder is well thought out and sports an oriental design. The method in which the exhibits are displayed is both creative and harmonious.

The exhibits are separated into different categories such as materials (ceramics, leather, crystal, etc) and type (art, games, musical instruments, etc). Several automobiles are also on display here.

Each item has a footnote to describe its background. Take your time to check out this place; there is a lot to see outside it as well, thanks to the picturesque landscaping.
